First time trying nations and it impressed it was delicious and highly recommended. If there was one closer, I would be going there more often.

Think this spot is good if you're nearby and want to pick up quick meal. I think burger is probably not the best you'll have but it's a pretty decent one! They also have a large selection of pies on display and just feels like your homey diner feel even though it's a chain

Old school burger joint. Has that Mom & Pop feel. Prices are decent. Pie selection is pretty good too. The cheeseburger was a solid diner burger. This location used to be the big HS hangout spot back in the day and I had never been there before.

I love Nation's! There I said it and am done....just kidding! It's so nice to have a regular old fashioned hamburger with OG toppings. Sometimes crisp iceberg lettuce, tomatoes and sliced onions is all that is needed versus smashed, fried egg, blue cheese etc. Today, is pi day so a nice healthy slice of lemon meringue is what was in order. They have a seasonal blueberry pie which was tempting but the guy at the register said to go with the lemon which happens to be my favorite anyway. The crazy is flakey, lemony custard and a big layer of meringue completes this delightfully light treat. Parking is easy and there are usually plenty of seats. Please support this great local franchise. Have a burger, chili cheese fries (daughter's favorite), a soft ice cream cone, milkshake and or pie. So many options! Pro tip....each year at the Moraga Pie Festival, Nation's bakes the special, festival only, pear pie. It's very good!

Everyone we visit that place my husband and I are reminiscing of our college days when we were young and broke and dining at Nation's was our treat! Since then not a lot change :-) however, they do have vegan burgers and no sugar added apple pie to support your dietary needs. We order vegan burger, regular burger, eggs with pancakes. Burgers were delicious (and yes even the vegan one), eggs were great, however pancakes were below average/tasteless and chewy, like they were made from old batter. I will recommend the side of hush brown instead. The highlight was of course the apple pie with no sugar added. Truly tasted like a homemade treat. Service was on a slow side, however given the obvious limited resources that place had, that did a good job! Interior is of an old fashion burger joint, not a lot of room to seat, so if you are coming around busy lunch time expect to wait for the table.

Every one's favorite. Cooked from fresh in front of your drooping watering mouth - delicious tasty staple food that actually taste fab. Can get busy and rightly so, so be patient, be polite to the hard working staff and enjoy.

The burgers and the pies are good like the old days but that's about it. The other items in the menu could be better. Staff are fast and friendly.

When I think of Nations, I reminisce about good burgers and tasty pies + chili cheese fries! This location is not the best example but still reasonably good. This location is kept pretty clean and the bathroom is usable. Great to stop by for an evening to gorge.
